Bar lunches and suppers are served from 12 noon to 2.15pm and 6pm to 8.15pm .
As well as our popular and affordable menu, we offer daily specials. Specials are locally bought Scottish produce.
We try to buy as locally as possible. Our meat is sourced from Stuart Grant in Grantown on Spey. He gets his Pork from Nairn and his Beef from Morayshire farms. Our fish comes from Sutherlands of Portsoy and our milk and free range eggs come from Nairn. Veg is from Williamsons of Inverness.

typically, the chef has had a tempura tantrum in the kitchen. either the chicken or vegetables will find refuge on your plate with some chilli sauce veg £3.50 chicken £4.00

filled tarlets, glazed with goat’s cheese and accompanied by good dollop of sweet red onion marmalade! a magnificent flavour combination £4.00
beer battered haddock
yes things got rowdy in the kitchen and after a couple of pints of Belhaven, the battering commenced. the potatoes chipped in, the peas got mashed, but then the chef stepped in and put them all on your plate. £8.50
succulent pork loin with caramelized apple, tasty tatties and a creamy mustard sauce that really brings out the flavour of the pork. £7.50
stuffed with sage & wild haggis, plucked fresh from the hills to make a scottish classic. chunky seasonal veg, tatties and whisky cream £8.50
local salmon with potatoes, the finest of green beans and a hollandaise sauce £8.50
a big beef burger! a 6oz handmade steak mince burger, with all the trimmings and a topping of your choice:

steak & ale pie
a melt in mouth beef stew with cairngorm breweries finest ales topped with puff pastry. Tatties or chips on the side - you choose £7.50
a nice big bowl of penne with a tomato and roast pepper sauce. served with toasted garlic bread. the flavours in this dish are definitely worth tucking your napkin in to your collar. £6.95
alternatively, try our smoked haddock macaroni. beautifully smoked haddock with no dyes or anything artificial. served with a creamy, leeky sauce to hold it all together. £7.00
We try really hard to make sure our food is seasonal and source everything as locally as possible.
everything is prepared daily and cooked freshly to order. this may mean a wee bit of a wait for some main courses, especially if we’re really busy. thank you.

clava brie – beautifully creamy and earthy flavours from this connage dairy highland masterpiece.
lanark blue – a medium strength blue cheese from the rolling green pastures of lanark
kintyre applewood smoked cheddar – from the wilds of the west coast on the kintyre peninsula
caboc – wait until you taste this! rich and creamy with sour notes and rolled in oats. tremendous!
we can offer smaller portions of most main courses for older kids. your waiter or waitress is the best person to ask about this. for younger children, please choose from the selection below:
